my saying im sorry to your story wont do much to ease the pain but i felt your story. hope everthing works out for you, but instead of sitting and waiting for things to get better why not go out there and make things better.
i understand your not wanting to have ur children suffer but the emotional toll that the situation is having on you is something you should take into account. they can see it and it must affect them as much as it affects you.
adults tend to think children cant see it but they can and it can scar them for life. if the awful living situation isnt an incentive for you to make concrete plans to make things better and leave then that of your childrens well being and your own should be enuf!
