The Story
It was a Saturday morning at home with my kid and wife. I'm off to work and my daughter loves to tag along whenever she finds a way to persuade me. The wife never halted her because she has plans with her friends. She works in a govt. office for 5 days so I taught I'd let her loosen up a bit. The whole day passed by without any hassles at work and so, my daughter and I went straight home just to find my wife still not at home. I was starting to get worried because she never stayed away that long. I received her text message late in the evening stating she won't be able to come home that day and that they were having much to drink. It made me uneasy because two things she won't do is drink too much and stay late out. The next morning, I waited for her and still she won't come. My boss called for a quick errand so I left home with my daughter still tagging along. After the errand I came home just to see her laying in bed still drunk and very uncomfortable. I confronted her with her actions but she wont even look at me. She then again cleaned herself up and went to another family affair with our daughter this time. After that no further discussions were made and before I knew it, she was leaving with another guy whom she met on the internet. My heart shattered that day. I prayed to god to bring her back and after two days she did, just to tell me straight forward that she don't want to be with me anymore. It all happened just this October 26, 2014 and today is November 3. I've been crying the whole week and still convincing myself that this is just a bad dream that I got myself into. I've been with my wife for ten years and she seemed happy all those days, or so I think she was. My only consolation is that my daughter would never come to her even if she pull her. Please anyone out there, how do you work on things like these, when your very sanity is hanging just by a thread.
