The Story

I just joined this site as I am just after finishing with my boyfriend. We know each other 9 years and met while working together in a hospital. We went out together for one year and when I was a little scared to move in with him he finished with me and fell for another girl. To make a long story short, we never lost touch apart from two months after he finished with me but then stayed in touch as friends and he ended up marrying the girl he dumped me for 8 years ago about 3 three years ago and rang me when he came back from honeymoon to say that he was after making the biggest mistake of his life and realised that he should have married me. I was upset that he could come out with that because I was in a relationship and I told him to leave me alone. I ended up marrying about six months later and then I rang him to tell him. He told me that he could never get over me etc but realised that he had lost me. We occasionally texted each other and I gave birth to a baby girl just after his wife gave birth to a baby girl also. In March last year I had severe problems with my husband - long distances aint easy for a marriage - my ex rang me to meet up for a chat and I did. I told him that I was seperated and he then told me that he was getting out of his unhappy marriage. We had a wonderful few months. Went on a holiday of a lifetime etc. Then just as everything was going well for us, his wife called to say she was six months pregnant. That was the beginning of the end for us. He had to go back to her as felt it was his duty. I told him that it would be better if we did not contact each other again and to work on his marriage for the kids sakes. Then in April this year, he rang me to say that he was so miserable, he couldn't stay away any longer from me. He was going to leave his wife etc (again!!!!) which I believed as I always thought him to be an honest person. To make a long story short, out of the blue yesterday he sent me a message saying that he couldn't change his circumstances after all and wished me the very best in life. It was such a bolt. No explanation as to why. Only last weekend he told me he'd die for me! Am in shock and am so angry and feel betrayed.
