The Story
I met my girlfriend at a bar. She was 21 at the time and I was 26. She was beautiful. I would have to say it was love at first sight. We had a such a great connection; the kind that you never have to say a word and you know it is there. We made such passionate love. Each day we grew together. It was magical to say the least. I loved watching her come alive. She was not a typical southern californian girl even though she could have been. We called ourselves "the most modern couple ever" because we didn't let society control us. We didn't let all of the BS that sorounds us on a day to day basis get to us. That all changed. We had been dating for a year - I was in the middle of tax season and she said she basically didn't love me anymore. After 3 days apart she came back to me. She loved me again and was soooo foolish. This cycle of make and break up lasted about 6 months. It was almost like she couldn't keep it together which probably had to do with her being young still. But complicated with that was the fact that her parents put so much pressure on her to "find the best/she deserves the best". So at this time she was constatly having doubts about whether or not I was the best. Her parents by the way or so blind to love - Her father recently had his house forclosed on, married twice, a typical slimy lawyer type that wouldn't give it a second thought on saying how hot a girl would look in front of his daughter. He goes to Russia to try and find a russian bride and such. Her mother after her dad left, she was 5, married a executive at a moving company (golddigger). So this was her example. She never had any real relationships in her life before me except with her parents and one girlfriend. She tried so hard to fight it and believe in the simple thins with me such as love and trust. Which is why I loved her so much. But like I said in the last six months this pressure was making her mad. And I forgave her because I loved her hoping she would snap out of her wild mood swings. Well it was about a month with no mood swings and we were happy. She begged me to move in with her one saturday so I did hoping for the best. We were thinking about moving to philadelphia next summer. That night we went out had some drinks and she snapped. We came home and got in an argument and next thing I knew all of my stuff was outside. She attacked me. She said she would mace me if I didn't leave. At this point I was baffled and tried to control the sitch. I grabbed her and held her and told her I loved her. She then proceeded to scream. Next thing I know I am handcuffed and then in jail. After I was let out I went to her house to get my stuff and talk some logic into her. She then proceeded to call the cops and her drunken father. I finally left with all of my stuff. I talked to her one week later to find out her dad was in the hospital for trying to quit drinking. She had moved into a hotel room from her beautiful apartment with a canyon view. We met up about 3 weeks ago to exchange things and that wa the last I have seen her. She has since changed her phone number... I miss my friend before she lost her mind. I hope she is OK. I hope I can forget about her. I hope I can love again.
