The Story

Love is a losing game.

Never cheated, never felt the need always loyal. Always cheated on, broken hearted and sad. Every girl I ever loved cheated on me... That's why I have a hard time with relationships these days. All the pretty girls ask me why I won't commit, why I won't go out. I have loved, and I have lost. I am done losing. Criminals always regret the actions they have done, once those actions are done.

Pretentious I, lost wandering through the devastated remains of what once was. Searching for survivors with tireless rhetoric of repair restore, in a way without means. This place is long dead and I can see the ghosts as I slam down more wine. A faded glimpse of that starry dynamo, distantly a heart on a string dangled before me. I run tirelessly fueled with liquor and drugs, dreams of restoration, lights in windows that are now long fallen. Time is still as I walk the long empty road in the remains of the devastated city of love, Holocaust of feelings and states of mind, hearts and persons. Night sets cold on the broken walls that marked once great city skapes of emotional well being.

The wine comes with the memories, and empty bottles to scatter about.

(Written in a wine soaked soul and carried on my arm like a tatoo I can not hide.)
