The Story

So I am in the middle of this major transition in my life and was very focused on what I need to do.

I have never had a problem meeting women, and was not interested in meeting anyone at that moment. Then she came along!

I first glance, I was not impressed, and was courteous to her, as she was a friend of a friend. We spoke a little bit, but I mostly spoke with the mutual friend that we had. Hung out for about 45 minutes to an hour, and had to go. Got things to do, busy busy busy..

Bump into her again, almost a month later, and we start talking some more, and the more we talk, the more we drink, the more we drink, the more I am really liking her.

End up at her place later that evening, and things are going great, passionate kissing, a lot of touching and feeling, and the option for sex. We both decided not to have sex, mutually, which was different, but nice.

We started dating, everything was going well. We would laugh all the time, talk about anything, cuddle, go out to eat.. it was perfect, or so I thought. Then for the last 2 weeks of our 3rd month dating.. I felt her getting distant, I knew something was wrong but could never get a straight answer from her.

So it has been almost a week since May 13, the day she decided to stop dating me. I was devastated, but I am firm with any and all decisions. 3 days later, she sends me a text saying that she missed talking to me, I call her back and tell her that I miss her too, but not sure what else to do.

She gives me the, "I want to be friends" speach. So me and my dumb ass says okay.. I do not know what I was thinking, but I do not think that was the smartest thing for me to do. I am totally in love with this girl, and can not just talk to her as if she was a friend only, who am I kidding.

I have been heartbroken before, and have broken some hearts as well. It is a possibility with any relationship. But I have always had a reason or have been given a reason when ending a relationship. I have none for this one, except for what she has said over and over again, "my life is complicated."

WTF?? So is mine??
